Well we have the first coat of paint of the first color on now we gotta let it dry I am sure that it is going to take a while to dry since the humidity is so high but thats ok I can rest the rest of the day I am going to post pictures as soon as my daughter gets back in the house.........

Gary - Nice! Where at did you catch those!? And when? We drove the boat from Buncombe around to the Durant bridge; there were tons of bass boats and no one but us caught a thing!

Q - That's cool! Your kiddo's nail polish matches her birds. Lol

Good afternoon Okies... I slept through morning due to a massive headache caused by being around that much noise and smoke last night

I tell people this all the time... I may smoke, but I hate smoking in enclosed areas, and I really wasn't expecting some places in OKC to allow smoking in the building (two of them did).

So I'm sitting here with my coffee, looking out the back door, and sighing because I didn't get up and feed/water the chicken... so I'm gonna have to get wet.

Afternoon everyone. Souds wet and cold back there. Its sunny and in the 70's here again. Sure doesn't feel like Nov. but we aren't complaining!

Went to our clubs pigeon show yesterday. It was nice but much smaller than last year. Afraid this will be the last,just not enough interest to keep it going. I did some silent auction bidding and brought home 28 birds! I set them in low and thought someone would start upping the bids but no one did!

Only one pair really thrilled me. They were English Trumpters.

That was my first fancy breed so I have always liked them. The other birds will be trading material. I sure wish it had been payday for me,the best silent auction item was a GQF brooder,or rather brooders.It was a stack of 5,brand new,only one had a very little poop on the tray. It went fot$275! Clearly a $800-$1000 dollar setup.

I went out and raked some leaves and put in the pens so they could break them down for the garden. I love to see the biddys scratching around in them.

Ka-ben happy late Birthday. Are you starting to feel old yet!

Boy those fish sure look nice.
Q nice birds. You will like the d'anvers. The little roos are very proud and can become very aggressive if you aren't carefull. They are good setters to.

poultryandbees - Oh yes, I am a fishing master.

Everyone else was still-fishing, we were trolling. I think that's what made the difference. Clark even caught some just by hooking them in the back!

Gary - Maybe we went too early in the day, then. It was weird being out on the lake getting sunburned in late September. Were all 10 of yours that size!?

I've been fishing since I was in diapers; its true, there's a picture! Lol. Clark says he's taking me deer hunting this season; we were checkin out the deer stand and had a buck blowin at us. I'm a decent shot, but I've never actually been hunting. I'm pretty excited about it!

Nice fish Grace's dad (GAry) been along time since I have done any serious fishing.

Sure is quiet here today. Needless to say it is raining so I am not getting my birds tested. I seem to be in a cooking mood so there is nothing safe.
