Tell Amanda I'm sorry about the birds she lost. The weather did get pretty cold over here for a while, but it is doing better now!

My birds did pretty well at the Fall shows (I think I posted about that at the PYA, though). They have all survived through the winter season - so far at least. Oh, and my little Mille Fluer rooster's sweetheart finally started laying.

The only birds I am actually selling are some Rock bantam hens, because I bought 9 of them and a roster at that Shawnee, OK show with a breeding program all planed out..... but the rooster died as soon as we got them here and in their pen. So after carefully watching the hens to be sure they weren't sick, I finally am having to get rid of all but a couple since I won't be able to breed them without a rooster

Grace - Yay on the incubating! I'm getting anxious, 6 days until hatch! When are you going to start incubating? Oh, I will have Okie and Buckguy help look for a roo for your girls at the auction Saturday.

Buckguy - You said the auction is at the lumber yard in the middle of town, right? I'm going to mapquest and see if I can figure it out.

Oh! I talked to a woman tonight who lives about a mile north of me. She has standard Langshans: Blue, Splash, and Black. (Think those are the colors.) Her dad raises them and supposedly has won lots of shows with them. He lives in Pryor. She's going to sell eggs, anyone interested let me know!

Also, my aunt and uncle have Barred Rock roos if anyone wants some.

We were there just after the bad freeze, our daughter was without power for 10 days & she just got it back on 2 days before we came. She is a asst. manager for a place called "Pops" on route 66 Edmond.

I don't know about Moffet but there is one in Monroe Oklahoma near the Arkansas border on the first and third Fridays of the month, It is seasonal so I am not sure if it has started up this year yet.

Cammie - I hadn't realized how close you were to the hatch Congrats

I was going to start incubation this Monday, then add a batch next Monday, to get a staggered hatch. But, now I'm pretty sure I am going to have to move those forward a day (Tuesday) b/c we will be gone on Monday to Duncan.


Okiechick- - you do realize that you have to ask PC before you leave the incubator unattended for more that an hour

Well, ya'll just came to OK during a bad time; the week or two right in there was the worst we had all winter.

Ok guys, I'm coming to the auction tonight, probably going to get there around 6. I'm bringing Okie's roo, and I think my fiance's little sister is going with me. I say little, she's younger but way taller than me. *ha*

Grace, is there anything else you want me to look for at the auction? Duncan is only like an hour from here, so if I get you anything maybe we could meet in Duncan.
