Buckguy, I listed the Muscovies for sale on craigslist too.and saw there pekins

My Rouen crested and beautiful, is about 6 months old and a drake
The mallard is age unknown....but guessing close to a year or maybe 1 1/2.......twisted bill....hence his name "bad Bill"

I would love to buy some moderns at the Newcastle show....will be saving my pennies for sure.thanks for letting me know.......

I'll have to check with Dad, and also we would have to set up a time to meet (maybe if we go to Newcastle...).

I got an icubator, Woo hoo

The dog had jumped on my home-made one yesterday and broke 5 of the eggs.

I had already decided to just buy a new one anyway, so Elvin got me one for my birthday!! This weekend, I'm going to get a egg turner for it. And if the incubator isn't exciting enough, my grandbaby will be here anyday. My DIL is having contractions off and on today!! So if she can just hold out till wednesday, I'll have another really good birthday present!!!

County, I might try to make the Cement auction in march. It sounds like fun! I'd like to go to the Marlow flea market that day also. I really need to get a bunch of stuff done here, before I get any more birds. But gosh, it's tempting though!!

I think we just bought a house!!!

Clark just called the realtor and made an offer, and she is calling the owner right now. Apparently the owner was about to sign an offer, but ours is more, so keep your fingers crossed that she accepts it!

Foghorn, let me know if you go to the Cement auction, maybe we could try to meet up. Since you're from around Chickasha, do you know any Myers's?

I'm planning on going to the Newcastle show, ya'll let me know if you're going!

Well, we won't find out until Friday about the house, but its not leaning in our favor...

Our offer is higher than the other people's, but the owner said she wants to 'give them a chance' since they offered first ??? They have until Friday to get pre-approved. Ya, they aren't even PRE-approved... *sigh* I know it will always work out like it is suposed to.

I'm sorry for your trouble, but thank you Jesus we live in Oklahoma where the economy is pretty stable no matter what the non-flyover part of the country is experiencing!

Still, if the other party isn't even approved. . .I wouldn't bet that they could get all their ducks in a row before Friday.

Okie, I feel bad that I haven't been able to get up that way and help you out some but I have been busier than a one armed paper hanger myself. Hopefully when things slow down I can give you a hand.
