I had a friend that got caught selling pills in the park one summer. He bragged to the police that they couldn't do anything to him because they were saccharin tablets rather than the LSD that he'd sold them as. After they tested the pills, they arrested him for fraud. I guess it just doesn't pay to sell drugs, even pretend ones.

Good Day fellow Okies,

Whew I am finally done with school, for the semester. Just got back from my last Final, ugggg. I do not like tests, except when they are over. It is soo cold outside, but I think it may feel a little warmer than yesterday or perhaps just less wind.

Hey that reminds me, I read about all the project birds some of you are working on, so I thought I may jump on the bandwagon. Here is my project: Breed Ameraucanas with cochin until I get heavily bearded and feathered feet while maintaining colored egg color. Then breed with Sultans which I believe should make a frizzle type chicken with extra toes, beards, feathered legs and the colored eggs. Now that would be my perfect chicken!

What does everyone think? Is this possible or am I just daydreaming about the Nirvana chicken?

I have also thought about something like this. I liked the green eggs my EE's gave me. I was trying to save them up for xmas and blow them out and make Xmas ornaments out them and give as gifts. But I would love for different bird like cochina or foo foo to lay beautiful green/blue eggs.

Ok I have a Shawnee Question... and granted although I asked for no more talk of Shawnee this time I started thinking maybe there is a way for us to make it up there...

Since a majority of you are going up there for Saturday, how long are you all planning to chill up there? Jasons last day for Foster Care Classes ends around 1 ish? and thought if it appears ya all will be up there for a long while Jason and I might actually consider meeting up with you guys...

Hi all! Glad to see everyone is still cruising along here! It feels like ages since I was on last. Anyways, we are getting super excited about going to shawnee on sat. We have decided not to show the bantam brahmas (color seems way off which is probably to be expected since they were from a hatchery order). Anyways dh likes the hens so we are looking for someone who would like the little roos. We can bring them to Shawnee with us. Since Caitlin has been doing such a great job caring for and working with her chickens we have decided to let her have a show quality trio of call ducks. She has had her eye on them since the newcastle show. Please let me know if you know of anyone who would be willing to trade the roos for ducks or buy the roos so we can have a little to put toward ducks. We are hoping to find a good trio of grays or pastels at shawnee. Once we get them we may be hollering at Stimp with questions

Hello all. Sounds like everyone is getting pumped up to go to Shawnee and the rest of us are sulking because we can't go. Okay maybe I'm the only one sulking, but I'm doing enough of it to make up for everyone else.

I have a question for all you that show. What do you use to bathe your birds, other than water? I'm wonder if you use soap and what kind if you do.

I'm also considering selling my Easter Egger and Serama chicks. Someone has got to have a better place for them. I just don't have time for them anymore. I do really like them. Plus I'm getting the chickens I really want next week.

Roy, I no longer have the little BBRed mixed chicks. They decided to go swimming when nobody was home. I swear these little bantams are suicidal. That makes three out of four that have been fished out of the stock tank. The barred chick was recued and is fine now. They somehow get out of their pen and into the big pen and like to get in the ducks' tank. I don't understand them. I felt awful when I found them this afternoon.
