I think I have more than I'm supposed to. When I moved there my neighbor told me that Mustang allowed chickens. I was on the internet that night looking for chicks to buy. A couple of days ago my wife was looking up city ordinances and told me that we are only supposed to have like four adult and 12 young. What do you think? Free eggs to all code enforcement officers? A nice Christmas stocking full of goodies sent to their home?

6 mille fluer cochins (2 separate trios), 1 black star, 1 speckled sussex, 1 "who the heck knows what this is supposed to be", 1 ee cross mutt that I'm keeping out of the surviving 11 one month olds, and 12 silkie chicks (4 of which are going to a new home next week... I'm keeping the b/b/s & partridge silkies).

Did I mention that my little city/town has a "no chickens" ordinance? Yeah. About that.

I gotta try to get some sleep. I'm NOT doing too well with my back and I'm hoping that a chiropractor can make it at least somewhat better so I don't spend my time at Shawnee looking like a hunchback

Not that I have any problems with hunchbacks, but since I'm only turning 30 three days after Christmas, I'd prefer for my back to not kink up like that.

Hey, anybody feeling like gifting me with birthday silkies??
