Tanya, sorry you didn't get the Calls you wanted

For the record, I spend most poultry shows running around like a chicken with its head cut off (pun intended)

. But don't be afraid to jump in front of me and say hi!

$75 for the trio I bought, the largest roo & his two hens. I thought that was high until I heard the price for a pair of bantam ducks, wow!! A single bantam drake was $80.

I've seen Andy Barnes single birds go for $100-$150, so $75 for a trio is not bad at all

Pa-Pa couldn't stand it any longer, so called Quenston.....LOL
They are on their way home. Got a BB, a RB, and I don't
know what all else.

Yup, like if they weren't before,
they're totally hooked now.

Come on everybody else, check in and let us know.
It is soooooo totally awesome to get to share in
what our Okies in the BYC are whippin' up town.

Murphy's Law is alive and well here...LOL We're still
waiting for the sun so we can cool the pellet stove and
install the new fans in it, and the ice maker in my
freezer quit, so have that portable set up in my
livingroom. That thing has become one of my best
"over the top for camping" investments I've ever
made.....so hush Pa-Pa........

Get regrouped everyone, there'll be an ABA Show in
Pryor in March and another Creek Nation Show at
Eufaula sometime in the spring, as well. Hopefully,
we'll be ready to "hit it" by then.

Have a good one !

Hello Eulaine and crew

I really missed seeing you all at Shawnee

Hopefully I will be able to show at Pryor this year!
And we talked to the reporter guy from the Creek Nation Show, but he said they are aiming to do it at Muskogee this next time. Either place they do it, I should be there! I really enjoyed their last show

Here are some photos of the Crele OEGB that I got at the Shawnee show.

One of my bantam pullets laid her first egg recently. It had a very soft shell, perfect egg shape, but felt like soft rubber filled with water. I give them oyster shell about once a week, anything else I should do to help with this? Maybe it was just her first egg and they will harden up in time? Never seen this before.

Matt

That would be my take on it. The first few tend to be a little weird one way or another. I've had several start out like that. I actually had a new pullet who laid eggs with dents in them.
