Ok Just clarify, I do not have every breed of rooster known to man. I only have 19 roosters and only 16 different breeds.
Many of these have a special purpose. If they don't figure out what that is very soon, I will tell them.

If I crossed a duccle with a Modern game would those Richard Simmons bell botttom feather pants go away?

Good day Stimpy, Teach, Al, City, Cuban, Buckguy, Mallen, Shidalgo, Quenston, and Barnswallow!

I think that I got most everybody who is on here right now or just was.
Anyways, it is a BEAUTIFUL DAY outside. I love the sunshine!

Just came back inside a few ago to drink my chocolate coffee mixture. However, I will not be eating any grits, not now not ever.

I think they taste icky or really like nothing and are just well.......gritty. Feels like I am trying to eat sand or something and it is just not for me. I never had them or had barely even heard of them until I was in the military. Never ever again will I try them I don't care what you put on them. Now I do like cream of wheat! Yum yum it is good, put some sugar on it and some milk oh so good. However, I haven't had it in years either, since way before my daughter was even born. Hmmmm, I might have to pick up some cream of wheat the next time I go to the store.

How is everybody else's beautiful day going?

Oh, on chicken related issues. I too still need some D'Uccles, I was planning on getting some at the Shawnee show, but they were too expensive and I still need to replace 'Buddy' for Charlotte. He was a Porcelain D'Uccle. But I really would like to get a trio and then a couple of MF hens too. Although, as Cuban was saying, yes the Porcelain are MF with 2 Lavender genes. So potentially I could just get a Porcelain Hen and then breed her to Mr. Survivor (the MF D'Uccle roo who was smart enough to fly up and roost and wait out the massacre, why oh why did his wife not do the same and Buddy too. Charlotte always referred to the MF Hen as Mr. Survivors wife she was super sweet).

Hey Teach, I notice that you and your boys have almost the same breeds as we do. Perhaps we can start swapping some eggs come this spring and summer. I got those two splash silkies hens and the black roo from Betsy. I know one of your boys was telling me that his brother was really into the silkies. I plan on getting more silkies too, we really love the silkies. We used to have them in several colors and plan on searching to get more. I should be meeting up with Betsy soon, once our schedules permit (another busy week, Nutcracker is this weekend). I have also been searching around online for breeders with eggs to hatch here once it warms back up some. Also, once we get our pigeon set-up established would you like any NOE pigeons, or the Russians? (Can you tell me again what kind the Russian ones are called?)

Well, I am going to be back and forth on here today. I am going to be trying to get lots done outside today. I have almost complete my new breeding pens off of my greenhouse. But I am going to go ahead and start on a bigger aviary type building, all with the use of pallets for the structure. I saw some more pallets that I need to go ask if I can have and bring them home to get started on that one too. I begged the DH to leave me the truck today, of course, he didn't know it was for more pallets for more chicken buildings, hehehehe.

Oh well, I made him his favorite dinner last night, I will just remind him of that and maybe make another one tonight.

You can thank me by giving all of your students 10 extra credit points in the area they need it most.
Tell them it is a gift from your supplier.

I put a pack of dark hot chocolate then pour coffee over it and add milk. I don't like the taste of coffee, so I have to cover it up. It sure is good that way! But I do notice that if I have to get it at a gas station or somewhere else, it is never as good as I make it at home. I think for one, their coffee is weak and I think I might make mine a little stronger, probably bcs I just really don't know how much to pour in the thingy for just a few cups, LOL.

Hey Krazy (if I may call you by your middle name),

I use Tasters Choice instant coffee by Nescafe. The coffee comes in little, measured tubes. You just snip off the end and pour it in a cup, add hot water and voila, coffee that tastes freshly brewed. The best part is that because it's pre-measured, every cup tastes the same. It has the Stimpy Stamp of Approval.

Yes you may! I laughed so hard. I used to say that when I was younger. I received the nickname Krazy Kate when I was almost 17 and had just gotten to college. Some of the things I would do, like on the spur of the moment drive to Wisc for the weekend and back to OK to go and get one of childhood friends and then turn around and do it again the following weekend to take her back got me the nickname Krazy Kate. Also everybody thought I was crazy for choosing to major in Statistics, bcs almost everybody hates that class. Anyways, it was pretty funny, bcs I could go to a party and would introduce myself as Kate and I would be talking with somebody and they all of a sudden would say wait your 'Krazy Kate', I have heard all about you. And then I would say yes, and would say yes, krazy is my middle name. LOL But I do like to clarify, I am just krazy fun. LOL
Anyways, I seem to pour about the same amt each time I make it at home, but if I buy it somewhere else it just seems more like icky water. But maybe I just make it strong and have just gotten used to it, as long as I have my dark choc in it I think it tastes good.

Well, to be honest, I think your younger boy has something there. If I found a guy that liked those kind of birds, I would have definitely given him the chance to prove his worthiness, hehehe.

I think it takes a real man to like the finer things in life like a bunch of foo foo chickens, also to wear pink. LOL Seriously though, some guys really do look good in Coral or pinkish colors. Well you got it! I am about to go outside and get to work now. Be back in a while to check in with everybody and catch up on all the talk.

You have acres? And you can't have more than six chuckens? Something is seriously wrong here.

It's the City Limits thing. No matter how much land I have. But if I built another house on my acres and paid tons more property taxes on said house, the people in that house could have chickens...hmm...

I have a pink shirt! Wear it real regular with my ties that have pink! In fact i only own one white dress shirt...hate it...almost never wear it but i have a couple ties that i can't match with other shirts so that is what i wear!....today is a blue shirt with a santa tie! He is wearing shades!

Down Cuban! You are where the Orloff came from!
