i have tried to let this gentleman down easy..........but he is persistant........this is what he said

Not black copper marans.
Do some research on google, ebay, eggbid.com, yahoo, ask.com.
You will see that fertile eggs sell for $124/dozen, non-fertile eggs sell for $5/dozen and that my prices are low for hatched/roo/hens/eggs.

They are of original french wade/jean blood line #4 color eggs.

Marans were illegally imported to states early 1900's from france.

Also there is an english breed, which has feathered legs...but the original wade/jean is very hard to come by.

Do some more research.
I have more hatching now as we speak, but if u still dont want to do business...thats fine, dont worry about it.
This is a small business on its own, since i recently lost my job, i had nothing to lose...now people are lining-up to buy a dozen fertile eggs for $100. And my pullets/$40, hens/$50-75, cockeral/$35, rooster/$50...

Thats funny..... If his marans are selling that well then it shouldnt be a problem to just buy the bator and he can sell the birds later to make up for what he paid for the bator.

The wade/jean line is easy to find, that is the most common line.

Well, I woudn't want to take advantage of you though.

Seriously though, If you're looking for dark egg layers, we have some. Our black copper marans aren't separated from the other varieties right now, so I don't have pure black copper. I've been selling our marans eggs as "mixed marans eggs" from that pen. We do have some marans that are separated by breed too. The other colors of marans are prettier.

Don, that is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! We've missed your smiling face! And your dear wife's too!

I hope you have the opportunity to go to the POOPS in May to visit with everyone.

What kind of chickens are you thinking of getting this time? Surely there's some Okies that would love to help you out

Gerald could bring you a load of 'em in his big 'ol green monster truck.

Oh, and if Gerald doesn't have enough room in the truck, he could bring the trailer too. He'd love to load up & drive around ... he doesn't think he gets to drive it enough already & it's been sitting since the Christmas parades.

I'm sitting here wondering exactly how much we could all stack in that truck for Don...

You can have my sympathies... I've had to keep the mudroom available for J's dog and my daughter's terror puppy/terrier mix puppy, and that danged terrier mix has shredded old feed bags that I hadn't thrown away yet and drug them out all over my back yard, where they are all waterlogged and disgusting. I look like I live in a white trash house/property because of that dang dog... and it's too cold/wet/muddy to get all that stuff picked up!
