Hope this finds you all in good shape.
We will be at the Blanchard Auction with
some silver and golden laced wyandotte pullets.
AnnaBell has some birthday money she is
wanting to spend. Hard telling what she will
have her eye on.
Saturdays weather looks GOOD!

I haven't hatched them yet. I am just getting my breeding pens set. I wasn't sure if it would be the same with the cuckoos as it is with barred rocks but the guy I talked too said it would. The big question is what genes my big red NN is actually carrying.
It will be fun to find out.
I hadn't seen Les on the board or I would have asked him.
If it goes like I was told. the roos will be black with a white spot on the head and the pullets will be solid black.

Hey Les, Does that sound right?

Thanks Tara,
I wasn't sure if it would work with Cuckoo the same as barred rocks.
I had talked to Tim Adkerson who is a very respected genetics guy.
So depending on what color of marbles the Red NN roo brings to the game we shall see what happens.

Ok, so I asked yesterday, but really didn't get a response from anybody so I am going to ask again today.

What auctions are there going on this weekend? Is there something in Pryor this weekend too? Thank you!

I am trying to figure out what I am wanting to do this weekend, while husband is away for Baseball games.

Even my rowdy little hooligans are sleeping in today. Serama's come out of the shell looking for a rumble. These are assorted colors, most silkied. Will try my (really bad) luck at posting a photo.
