I'll trade you some blue Americanas for some Partridge Cochins.

Hey Peaches

I will take that trade! Be sure to remind me when we are closer to POOPS.

Hey Sooner,

I'm taking some leave and I think that Peaches might enjoy a short 'Road Trip' if you wouldn't mind us just driving up to make the trade. Just touch bases with her on the number of birds we are trading so I will make space for the birds in the back of the Jimmy.

Hope you have a great day.

Doc

No certain number...just going to need cages. I'm in hoarding mode. My birds are REALLY small...need a fairly small mesh or they will walk right through it.

I haven't made any decisions yet. I looked at the event calander for the Ford Center. Everything that would have interested him was on a weeknight. We can't do weeknights. DH and I have work the next morning and both kids have school. I don't think I want to stay at an event until 10:00 or 1:00 at night, drive two hours home, get up for work at 4:00, stand on my feet for 10 hrs, deal with cranky patients while at work, then deal with cranky kids after work. I will just have to find something else. I'm wondering if the playhouse in Elk City is doing anything. I tried to look at future events, but didn't see anything appealing either. Well there was one, but tickets for everyone was gonna cost over $1000. That was without inviting a friend for him. I love my kids, but he ain't gettin' that. He actually enjoyed the few that we've been to, but they don't have them very often. He really likes science and there is a science camp at the local college every summer. I am already paying $500 for him to attend next summer. It is a two-week program and if he goes three years, he gets free tuition to that school when the time comes. I think it is worth it, plus he will enjoy it. He was supposed to go last year, but my DH's grandma passed away at the same time.

I would love to know more about this science camp. Char loves science and would probably really like this.

I still have to get the information from the school. I think Char may be too young, but they will probably have it when she gets older. As soon as I get the paperwork, I will let you know.

Edited to add that I just called the school and there is one at SWOSU in Weatherford and one at OU in Norman. Sorry not any at OSU. LOL The principal just told me that she will send the the papers home this week.

We better wait for them to hatch. I'm not at home with my callendar but I'm pretty sure they go on lock down Monday or they hatch Monday......Will let you know when I get home.

Is anyone else going to the Maud auction tonight or the Perkins auction Saturday??? There's been alot more birds at both sales lately. I cant wait to see what they have tonight. There's been some hens and chicks coming in from a couple local hatcheries. I hope they brought some more this week.
