The kind I had at POOPS was Head Country.
Sweet Baby Ray's is well . . . . . sweet.

Well, I got out today and surveyed some of the damage. Got to help a few folks. I always get sick to my stomach when I see storm damage like that.
I followed about a ten mile track. I don't know where the one near me ended but somewhere out past Harrah.
I have been losing baby quail left and right. i don't know why they are dying. I know some piling on is part of it. I have lost over 20.
I have baby chicks hatching now. Hopefully I can do better with them.
Hope everyone is Ok.

Hey Michael,I am sure enjoying the pigeons I got from you. Good thing I'm not close to you , you would be bad for my health! My wife would be thumping my head for buying so many pigeons from you!lol

Hope the storms don't start up for you guys tonight. We have had those terrible winds today. But it warmed back up. All that rain last weekend and I had to waqter flowers today! It all ran off to Nashville I guess! They are still trying to cleanup down there. Lots of homes ruined.

Hey Everybody!

Thanks for calling Maribeth. I am so glad to see everyone is ok.

Ok as you all know Uli and I are alive, well I feel mostly dead right now but still breathing (barely).

I have an respitory infection that has knocked me for a loop since last week. Just tired of being sick and tired.

We weather the storm really well just had a couple of downed branches that were broke from the ice storm anyway. Our grocery store has been totally demolished

which sucks since it was only 3 miles away and I could walk it if I had to. A tornado touched down about 2 miles from the house but it was in an open field and just tore up some trees and an old shed. Little Axe schools took a lot of damage. Totally destroyed the adminstration office, stadium and the roof on several of the buildings. There were a lot of houses damaged. My heart and prayers go out to all who lost so much. We finally got power back at 3 pm. The rain was nice after the tornados passed things were starting to get a bit dry out here.

Once again I am so glad everyone is ok.

to all of you.

Oops I forgot a couple of things.

First not sure if we will be able to make it to Fletcher Saturday. Depends on how I feel, breathing is a priority at this time.

Second I am wanting to order some Salmon Favorelles. I have a line on them for 3.50 each for pullets and 2.50 for males which includes shipping but I have to order 25. Is anyone interested in Favorelles (they have extra toes

).

Anyway hope everyone has a great rest of the week and hope to see everyone on Saturday.

Will that be a bantam only show or will it include Large Fowl or just some specialty breeds like the cornish? Will the cornish show be bantams and large fowl?

The Ensign Alternative Livestock Auction is coming up on Friday, May 21 (birds sold outside, cage sells with bird, birds are fixed price - generally) and Saturday, May 22 (birds go through the auction ring, cage sells with bird)

For those of you looking to expand your menagerie, the post card indicated that they have early consignments of 10 Alpacas, some with babies, a one year old male zebra, a one year old pair of water buffalo, red deer does, and lots of llamas from Colorado.
