Well the pickup started acting up after we left town. We decided to stop at the Love's between Clinton and Weatherford. Andrew checked the transmission fluid and it was low. We put some in and decided to chance it until Weatherford. We agreed that if it didn't get any better that we would stop in Weatherford and get some mice and then head back to the house. The increased level of fluid didn't seem to help, but at least it didn't get any worse. We grabbed a few more mice and feed and then headed home. I am currently sitting on the sofa wishing I wasn't. On the way home we got a call from a lady that always buys our babies. She was wanting some more chicks, but agreed to take all the hens and pullets. I guess I didn't need to travel to sell them all after all. I still have the ducks and Ms. Bantam Fluffy Cheeks. The birds are all back in their pens and the lady will be coming to get them tomorrow. She offered to give me some cash and 2 bags of Flock Raiser. I really just wanted to get rid of the birds. It evens out to a little over $8.00 a bird. I guess that is a pretty good deal.
Maribeth, she has agreed to take the BSL. I don't know when I would be able to get them to you, so I agreed. I hope this doesn't offend you. If you still want them and are able to come and get them, I will hold them for you. I realize that it is quite a distance to travel. I also set the poor spiders loose. They had been caged in a small habitat for a few days and were getting antsy. If you are coming out, I can get more any time. Andrew sees several every day on his way to work and home.
