I was on BYC last night just fine... got up this morning and my Norton blocked it stating it was unsafe we are talking BIG RED SCREEN of WARNING here.. I thought for sure this was a mistake so I tried to get on again.. but same thing happened.. this is now the first time I have been able to get on with out the Norton telling me no... ha ha ... I recall this happening sometime last year as well with my antivirus telling me the same thing... Well whomever or what ever did this are no friend of byc thats for sure... I did a scan on my computer and found just a tracking cookie which is now deleted other than that my computer is so far so good...

One of our chickens commited suicide decided they were going to jump in the kiddie pool and drown.

one more chicken down .... sheesh I knew we were down grading the place but losing them is not cool.

Might have someone interested in our 1918 Upright Whitney piano... which will be nice... hoping it goes to someone who loves playing and enjoys older things... I wish to keep it but at this time we dont have the room nor the playing practice as we once did/... For that I am saddened I love old pianos well anything older than Okie Moses... and Al... ha ha .... compared to the piano they are spring chickens... ha ha ha ha

I want to get on here and do a shout out for Peaches... Jason and I will be unable to attend and help out at the auction this SATURDAY.... She only has a few folks able to volunteer their services to help with the auction... is there anyone here close there of that would be willing to help with the bringing the cages to the sale table when they are being auctioned off... anyone ... please... help? THANK YOU THANK YOU I want to make sure that all though we wont be in attendance that she will still have plenty of able bodies to help her.. this is expected to be a big attendance in the auction... if you can help her in any way... please please PM her and tell her Jeannie sent you.. ha ha that way she isnt feeling stalked.. HA HA HA

If anyone on here is interested in about a 2-3 year old peacock, I am going to be listing one on CL. He was a gift, and I have no place to keep him in the winter. He's not overly friendly. He's not mean, but you can't get super close. I believe he is an India Blue, but don't know for sure...his neck is blue and green and his wings are the tree bark looking color. His tail is pretty long, but no eyes yet. I'm not sure if it's because he molted or if he just hasn't gotten them yet.

If you are interested, I can email or text a picture to you. I am asking $75 or would be interested in a trade for some other birds or supplies.

This is for local pick-up, or I might can meet you. Please email or message me here.

Thanks!

Al--We were talking on saturday about concreteing of runs...how much of the 80lb sack crete do you think it would take to cover a 16 x16 run with the thickness you indicated? I am really considering this! Thanks

Robin, Thanks for the link explaining what happened yesterday, When my antivirus (I have Microsoft Security Essentials) popped up and said I had a virus I was thinking no way it came from here but it did and all I did was click to post here on the thread I got off the site and clicked for the antivirus to clean the bug and it took care of it then ran a full scan, it didn't find anything else *Whew*
Peaches, I will be at the Fletcher auction and if I can help in any way just let me know, I don't have any birds I want to part with just yet but am bringing 4 rabbits to sell,
Matt, are you going? and if so do you still have the one we talked about?

Thanks for the reply Al! You are truly an awesome person and a genius....I had planned on lining the outside of my run with the concrete bags to prevent digging predators but your way seems to be less time and labor intensive and also less bags of concrete to buy! This is the fix I have been looking for! Thank you so much! This will save me tons of time!
Do you cover the concrete floors with any litter or just leave them as they are?

If I can find him I will bring him. I told you i was dieing for more room so I put him in a chicken tractor like a complete moron not thinking about the fact Rabbits dig in dirt He is living in the yard with my tame cotton tails (not sure if its still a she the way he mounts the cotton tails lol) anyhow I had my hands on him earlier but had a hand full of eggs and didnt want to break them so he got away. Once I catch him and sweetness I will pack him to the auction I am really gonna try to make it.
On another note I am so so so exited I just found a trio of some of the worlds best Buckeyes. I will admit to have them shipped to me is quite expensive But I am sure they will be worth every penny. I have spent days talking to Jeff Lay, Bill Braden, John Brown, And Robert Rhodes. I am gonna go with some of David Puthoff who has some Champion Stock Show birds. (what ever on earth that means) anyhow as of speaking with several of the major breeders that have been breeding this bird for 20 years+ Davids merit stands true and his birds are from some of the top bloodlines in Ohio I am glad and so exited to recieve my new trio in the next few days.
