Hey, Al, looks like our teams are having a little get together this weekend. You'll be hearing from me, I promise.

Unless we lose, of course.

Loved the Hoffa joke. You may just have something there. All I have to do is avoid football stadiums under construction.

Good morning. Went up to the city last night for Zac Brown. Had a blast till they sold out of beer. The kids dont have school today (I dont know why the school is mad at me.). Anyway Now I have to be on the look for a new Gold laced Cochin woke this morning to find her dead. I just dont get it she was happy and healthy Yesterday evening. I have six of her eegs in the bator so I hope they hatch. On the up side Guianes are hatching like crazy this morning.

Hey, y'all. Just ordered some more feed from Carnegie Co-op. Last time I was there they photocopied their price list for feed ingredients, so I typed it up for my records. Then it occurred to me to post it here in case others were interested.

And so I can find it again in case I lose my files.

I have never been so irritated in all my life. Last night 2 Owls Tried to knock over my CxR Tractor. There attempt landed them a lucky meal. these are great horned owls. Huge omg We were able to get within 10 feet of the pair he is a monster and she isnt quite as big. Ok so this morning at about 5 am I go out and he flys away from the baby cage. I am ok with that as I am content that I have fixed it so they cant get it lifted up again. As I come around the house to the back yard I hear my guinea yelling then I see a Barred rock fly right over my shoulder and right to the guinea. (a quick thought to myself is my plymouth barred rock chicks dont fly?????) so I rush over to where it flew and it grabs the guineas little head and Pops it off with his prize in his mouth he takes off. I run to find a stick incase he returns and quickly grab the carcass. Not even 4 min later as I am walking to the burn pit this stupid retarded hawk (Sharp Shin hawk) flys high speed right into my girls hen house fence. Of course he didnt get threw the welded wire fence so he dropped like a sack of bricks rolled a few times and he was back in flight.
Not even 3 hours later 2 redtail hawks. swoop thew my yard this time alerting my male goose who completely throws a fit running like a maniac Honking louder then I have ever heard him I was worried he was gonna die from stroke He started like going into convultions or vibrating is the best I can explain Wings out wide flapping frantically while the his girl and the ducks ran for the trees.
4:30 Pm and now there is a enourmous Giant hawk circling my house this guy is so big he can take my large goose away i bet. and dark brown to black. No idea the type of hawk. But, he is huge. anyhow total unaccounted for birds in one day or MIA are 1 guinea 1 adult RiR 2 barred rock roo's wont have an exact count till this evening. Sorry for rambling but darn it I hope migration ends soon.

Grace's Dad is right. The eagles are on their migration route too and they nest in oklahoma. There are nesting sites all over for them....Lake overhoulser and other areas in south eastern oklahoma...but right now they are moving threw here to down there!

I have decided to get up early in the morning and work on my run and hopefully the coop....I need to get this done my babies are growing growing growing! I havent been up to the hospital since Monday. Dad is doing well enough at the moment and I have pushed stuff to the side for as long as I can so this week has been the week of catch up. He's a little upset that I haven't been up there but in my opinion I have been up there everyday for four weeks and his fiance has not even come close to putting in the time I have so....

The way I see it I've done what I am supposed to and let other things slide that needed done and I just can't do that anymore so he will just have to understand. Looks like he might go home sunday or monday anyways then it is his fiance's job to handle. Do I sound a little peeved? Yeh I probably am....but more just tired and ready for this to be over.
