Actually, the only thing that has given my hands continuous relief this week has been diaper rash ointment. It helps them stay dry inside the cotton gloves I have been wearing 23/7, which is nice since they sting when they get wet.

Maribeth, I had severe skin problems on my hands years ago and a weeks worth of prednisone cleared them up and i haven't had any trouble since.

I had some growths onmy hands...but eventually they are getting to the point that they don't want to hold hands with their dad...apparently that ain't tough...

The dermatologist gave me some stronger antihistamine today, since on top of my problems with the skin on my hands, I woke up with hives this morning. He said it might make me sleepy and I wish that it would - so I could sleep instead of wanting to scratch my skin off. I get to start taking Prednisone tomorrow, to help break the cycle of skin problems on my hands and hopefully, it will also take care of the hives. In the meantime however.......

Don't you get Hives from messing with bees?

Donnie, I doubt I will have any hens for sale. I am gonna really try and put a bunch on the ground next year.
That was my plan this year but I didn't get as many as I wanted.
If I do have some for sale, you'll get first shot at them.

The komondors are doing great! I have 3 now. I had to cut off their dreadlocks, even though they look awesome when clean. Their fur picks up everything, almost like velcro. And, they love to go to the creek and lay in the cold water, so mine look like very dirty mops. They're almost a year old now. I wish I could let them have puppies soon, but all the breeders say to wait until they're over 2 years old, since they're slow to mature. I also have a really nice pair of registered great pyrenees, and a couple of old pound puppies.

They are the eggs from my bantam pen. I had one Serama hen and one Frizzled Cochin hen in with a Silkied Serama Rooster. I got rid of the Cochin a few weeks ago. The eggs were a few days to a week old when my Serama mama went broody. She only laid for less than a month after raising her last chick.

Would anyone be interested in my Serama rooster. I'm thinking of getting rid of him and letting my cockeral take over. I like the looks of the younger boy compared to the older one. The only problem is that the younger one isn't old enough to breed just yet. Here are a few pics of the Seramas.

The first one is my baby that hatched while I was in Tulsa in June. She is the first from my 2 Seramas.

The second is the girls from shipped eggs that hatched in June.

The last one is the cockeral that I want to keep. I love his coloring.

After hatchin the eggs in June, I ended up with a total of 2 boys and 4 girls. I think that is fairly good odds considering I started out with just a breeding pair. and hatched a few eggs. I can't wait to see how these new babies feather out. I curious to see a Frizzled Cochin/Silkied Serama mix.

This is from the person who told Donna that "rules are rules" so she had to stay on line?

We did post over 150 posts this evening and it was fun to try and post then go back and read all the posts I missed while I was typing.

Your memory isn't bad - it is just that the Speckled Sussex roo that I rehomed to Poco was from a co-worker who decided to rehome several roosters. She didn't want to think about them ending up in a stew pot so I found new homes for them among this group, rather than take them to an auction. So yes, I did have the Speckled Sussex roo that ended up with Poco Pollo - for a few weeks.
