Morning all. Sounds like everyone is busy today. I have to het busy to. Got lots to do so we can take off this afternoon and run down to N.Carolina this afternoon. Visiting family there. Addict that I am I have already checked to see if there are any poultry functions going on there this weekend! Of there isn't so I am already starting to feel withdrawls!lol.Why do people want to live in citys anyway!Well everyone have a great one. check in later.

Is it too early to start a roll call list for the Fletcher auction? I have to unload the 50 cases of glass jars that are still in the back of the magic poultry van so that there will be room for anything going to or coming home from Fletcher Saturday night.

What time?..... he has a lunch meeting around noon and probably wont be back until 1 or 2. Then i have to pick up some lettuce and tomatoe from Chili's for a fundraiser. Then around 430 we have to be at the school football field to volunteer with the fundraiser. we wont be home til around 10pm or later this evening from it.

Sooner, Hopefully I won't be talked into too many additions here. The boss is already asking, "What are you going to do with those?" Which I quickly follow by reminding her how Chicken and Noodles is a nice addition to the menu in the cooler months that are quickly approaching. Plus my barred girls hit 2 years old next spring.... so.....

I should get on with the honey-do "list". It has much too much on it which leaves one like a deer in the headlights.... standing there ... stunned... much easier to study info on incubation techniques, egg purchasing, breeds and items of much higher value than a repaired chair, new hay rack for the goats, better arrangement for shoes...etc

I'm just passing this along

I'll be making a quick trip tomorrow (Saturday) from our place in Morrow,
AR to Tulsa & Kellyville, OK. If anyone in those areas is interested in
any birds we have for sale, please let me know. I can bring them with me for
no delivery fee. I'll already have miniature horses, classic ponies and
quail for delivery, so what's a few more

I'm not going to go too far from my route, but I'll be happy to meet you.
I'll be in a big 'ol diesel dually & stock trailer and back roads are not
my friends if my GPS can't get me back to the main road~LOL

If I can bring more birds for folks, that would be a great thing to save
the birds the shipping stress and the customers the shipping COST!

a few Wheaten Penedesenca chicks, around 2 weeks old $10.00 each

a few Wheaten Penedesenca pairs, 7/8 weeks old, $40.00/pair

Teenage (2-3 months old) size B & C Serama pairs, $30.00/pair, pullets
$25.00, Cockerels $5.00 (a few PRETTY breeding age boys too), ALL colors

Serama straight run 3 week old chicks, $15.00 each.

Mixed heavy layer chicks, 2 weeks old, currently under surrogate Mama, 4

Our farm is NPIP certified, AR NPIP #71-0607, all birds come with a copy
of our certification. All of these birds (except the Ameraucanas) are on
WIRE or are in dedicated brooders and have been since hatch. The Ameraucanas
are in a breeder pen.

So, I found out I need to get up about 5:00 in the morning to be at Newcastle by 8:30. In case you were wondering, I am not a morning person....
Oh, well at least I will have a fun day (no matter what I win) because I'm going to a POULTRY SHOW

Fridays are always a blur for me, sandwiched between 2, 24hr shifts

(thur and sat), but if I can stay conscious I'm going to work on some fencing, oh and of course catch up on Project Runway! (you men can quit rolling your eyes!!!

The deal is that two clubs have worked together to put on this show. Saturday is an all-poultry one-day show. Then Sunday is a game bantam one-day show. It's two separate shows, they are just held back to back.
