We have to run also. Almost time for Choir Practice.

Good to see you back and talkative Mr.Stimpy! Glad you are out and doing better.

Mm thats a bunch of chicks you have there. I sure would hate to try for raising that many thru the winter, but I guess if you are set up for it it won't be bad. Hey you did know there is a turkey in that one pic don't you! Just checking!lol.Looks like either a bronze or bourbon red.

Well I put a deposit down on two pigs today. That holds them till they are weaned. They are mini or small type hogs. Both gilts,a white one and a spotted one. Wife said where are you going to put them because we aren't moving back for a long time! I just said "I'll take care of it"! Now I have to figure out how I'm going to take care of it!lol. But I just couldn't turn down these as I have been looking for some and they are hard to find. They are supposed to be weaned in Dec.

I worked on building another pen this afternoon. Hope to get it finished this week before I head to Okla.

Here is what I found out from the secretary of the fair board!!!

The Oklahoma Pigeon Breeders Assoc Pigeon Show is Nov 12 -13th, I believe that the 12th is the move in day.... but here is Steve's phone number he will have all the details and times for you ...http://www.facebook.com/l/46377DevDUy6U6I48zxjwQLppqw;405.390.8472, I would be sure and call him if you are interested. Hope this helps!

Hope this helps and I will probably try to be there also!
Wanted to ask for prayers for my oldest son, at his last football game for the season in the last quarter with no chance for them to win he got hit hard in the shoulder and ended up going to the hospital, they are sending him to an orthopedic surgeon to have him checked out, suspect a dislocated shoulder or a grade 2 torn ACL!!!! He is a big health boy and was pretty upset about this, seeing as he is one of only three seniors on the team and it was senior night, their team is a really new team as Carney has only had football a few years and they have only won one game all year. I am sure he will be fine but appreciate the prayers!
Thanks all, have a great evening, been woking on some new pens myself!!!! Lynn

Woke up early this morning to the sound of shouting and snorting. DH was away, so I figured it must be someone on the road. Our neighbor (and his kids and friends) decided to move some cattle. Sure looked like a lot of fun.

Lynn - sorry to hear your son got hurt. I have many, many football players in my classes, and they often hobble in on crutches or grumble when some silly doctor puts a cast on their arm. They think they are indestructible. I hope your boy doesn't have to have surgery. Maybe he'll be able to heal with a sling and some physical therapy.

Granddad's old truck spewed gas all over the shop today. I think the carburetor is messed up, but I can't find anyone who works on carburetors any more. I may be in the market for a newer truck

Hey! I may be in the market for a new truck

Holding the shift lever in second while taking a freeway ramp (pops out of second all the time) was getting old. Using hand signals because the turn signals only work when the feel like it confused a lot of other drivers. I don't think they teach hand signals in driver's ed. any more.

Donnie - I'm going to do my best to get to Brushy for the next Saturday auction. I doubt I'll have any birds to sell, but I'm always in the market for some nice hens. Joe had some lovely Ameraucanas at Chupps, but I could tell the buyer who left with them really, really wanted them.

Joe - I've been thinking about the Barnevelder crosses we saw at Chupps and how nice the buyer (short lady, blond hair) thought they looked. I hope she gets to see some pure bred birds soon so she can dismiss the image of the birds at Chupps as being "just okay." I'm still working on mine, but I can say with confidence that they are a good example of the breed. In a couple of years I'd like to be able to say they are an excellent example of the breed.

Howdy folks!

How are things going in the rest of the world. They are trying to outlaw my birds. I am in full attack mode.

Are the auctions shutdown for the season or are they still running? I am needing hens for a bunch of friends and gotta get rid of some excess ducks!

Teach, good to see you. What do you mean they are outlawing your birds!? You can't drop a bomb like that & leave.

Wayne, keep me up on when you are coming & the auction you are going to, I think I will try to make it. I need a night/day off.

She got reserve feather leg.

We didn't take all the chickens we entered because I didn't get them dubbed, we still had a good time.

I have to go to bed, work is going to be hard in the morning. Sorry, night/.
