We caught a big raccoon in the live trap last night. Anyone want a pet raccoon? Poor thing looked so scared and cute. I just don't know if she's the culprit who bit off our little roo's head though. So because of that, I could not sentence her to death. Luke is relocating her.

there is a Nero Wolf episode where Fritz the cook is showing Archie how to properly pluck a chicken. Would how you pluck a chicken have an effect on how the chicken will taste?

of course these are the sort of people who will only eat like Corn only the day it was pulled off the stalk, and again, will only roast corn, not boil it.

slowly getting around to responding more on BYC But as my wife will tell you, I'm slow on getting going in the morning.

Someone a few pages back (I was at work and couldn't respond) mentioned possibly having a processing tutorial day. Theirs was several hours away over by Lawton, but I think it is an awesome idea, especially if it could be done somewhere on the eastern side also. I would be very interested in something like that, or if someone that plans on processing on a specific day would invite me to learn.

Given a little advanced warning I could be available almost any day except Thur or Sat.


Sooner, Holding the notes is a great Idea, that will solve a lot of problems of bending them all up when sitting or walking!

hi sooner look like i missed alot of chater yesterday LOL my son whants to bring a self blue duch bantam to the 4h show but i wounder if they will think it is OEGB what do you think ?

You know there is no way to know what they will think because we never know the judge. It can't hurt to bring it, if nothing but to get the thoughts of the judge.

You doing okay?? Haven't seen ya on here.

Not sure what Madison will bring, of course I never know until the day before!
