Just south of Stillwater on Perkins road there is an auction at a little convience store on the east side of the road. It is every Sat. morning and they start around nineish. There is always a good selection of poultry there. Now just north of the Perkins road and Hiway 33 junction there is a house on the west side that sells rabbits and I think birds too. It is the first house north of the truck stop on the corner.

The hurricane rain is supposed to be bringing flooding. My hubby is on call Saturday, since the rain's supposed to start here in Chickasha by 7:00 pm. Right now all the rain is north of us, but ours is coming. The combined may overflow the rivers. So everybody get ready for another round!

At work today we started putting things on high ground, hopefully it won't get 4 feet deep like it did last summer, the bad thing was the mud, some places it was over a foot deep and I am still rebuilding engines and stuff from last year.

Well I work in Kingfisher, about 1/2 mile north of the creek. We got most important things up yesterday, in the rain. Now they are guessing the remnants of Ike could possibly go East of us. Oh well, we're ready if it doesn't.

It's funny if you flip the channel really quick you can usually get 4, 9, and 25 weather all in they are all saying different so we'll see who is right. I have seen 40% difference in the last couple of news broadcasts. I had put things off because of the rain and it is sunny at my house right now Wednesday night they said 80% for today. Maybe we will all get lucky and weather the storm better then expected.

Hey guys. Yeah my hubby is on call too. He is a lineman for the city. Usually we have horrible storms when he is on call! He is a storm magnet!! But who knows. None of the weather guys can seem to agree. They say we won't get Ike because it is going east of us. But it's like 80% for rain on Saturday. S.W.A.G. I guess. We need rain here, but not in copious amounts!! Hope you guys will all be OK... :)

I think the weather prediction changes by the minute. That way they can all say they were right at some point.

Well, who knows where the hurricane will get us, but I'm still a little concerned about river levels rising. That tends to be a problem around here.
