....a good airedale is hard to beat...

so would a terrier type keep coyotes from getting curious - so far we have only seen them occasionally

As long as it's a big terrier like an Airedale and then I would look for a bloodline called Oorang as they are much larger and retain the hunting aspects of the Airedale.

no luck to it, look up jagdterriers...they are a 15-20lb dogs that are used on hogs, bear and mt lions....

GotGame, I'm not downing your dogs and I know what jagds are capable of. You have to keep more than one for them to be effective at taking down large game. The yotes around here are huge animals and they don't often travel alone. So terriers, smallish to medium dogs, aren't going to cut it unless you want to keep a pack of them.

Sorry saleing out of bird's only grown one's..Did have bantum an standard sil.sp.Hamberg's but just sold all of thim. The kid tat bot the stand has some chick's i think he is takeing thim to Fletcher sale .

A sale i never hear any one talk about is the Dog trade at Sulfer its ben going on for yrs an yrs..The first time i went ther a old car pulld up an mom an dad an three kids
an granma an granpa got out they had chickens in toe sacks in the back seat an they open the trunk an got out a billy goat an two hound dog's.
One was half pointer the litle boy said he wouldnt bark on track just tree. I ask how much they said 50 for the pair so i bot thim. They cot every skuck they came across
but they would tree...An they got two of the best looking game roo's out of thim toe sack's you ever seen an tiad one to each door with a string on ther leg.
I ask how much the dad said 35 each i told him being i bot the dog's you should cut me a deal an that i would give 50 for both he said ok...This was in 1984 the first time i ever went.. You could buy a jar of pickled eggs ther for a buck jely or homemade bread they dont let thim sale stuf like that any more..
 
Good Morning everyone. Look like a really cold one here this morning. Having some coffee before I have to go gather up birds for the show.

Looks like DH did good at the roping he went to as there is a new saddle blanket hanging on the back of the chair.
 
Jumping in to say Good Morning before heading out to feed cows and check for new calves.
Have 60 tomatoes plants and 62 pepper plants to set out this week-end.....Hope today is less windy!!
