Will it be an Open Show or will you have Jr. Classes?

I was telling my son about it this morning on the way to scool and he has already got a chicken picked out for the ugliest chicken contest.
That is his last football game of the season (unless they make the playoffs) So I am wondering how we are going to get down there, enjoy the festivities and hustle our buns home! I will get it done. That is what we are doing for the big swap meet at Jacob's Cave.

Maw would have to fill you in on the show details, she has all the forms and such but we think we have the barn til 8pm so its going to be a big deal

Just about any MySpace page takes a bit to load but its worth it, if you have one be sure to add us and promote the event with flyers in your area if you can. I can't view it at work either but I do have dsl at home

I will be making new flyers up this evening that can be printed off.

The people a work think I am nuts!! The parents at all of Shaun's sports thinks I am nuts. We skipped out on a baseball tourney(which is a major big deal) to go to the swap at Jacob's Cave in July. People ask us why we wasn't there and we told them we went to a chicken swap meet. And they would look at us like we was retarded or something.

So we will definately be there if it's not my weekend to work or I can get it traded to be off. The October swap IS on my weekend, but I have already traded to go to that. But we will have to rush back so Shaun can be at his football game.

So Maw can you send me all the poo so I can get us signed up. And I will put flyers up here in the NE corner.
That is Shaun's last football game of the season BUT we are planning to drive down for the day and haul butt back to be in Quapaw America by 7pm

Hello all sorry to be draging tailfeathers but I am still waiting to get the laptop back that has all my information on it. the were able to fix it but the part reblew when they plugged my powercord in so they think my cord has a short in it so they will have to reorder that part again and a new power cord and reinstall and then I should be back in business. Then I will start getting all the new and updated catalogs and flyers out to everyone. I can't wait I am so excited myself too. I will try to continue to post as much as possible until I get my laptop back so please bare with me folks. Maw.

I have young beautiful Golden Lakenvelder roosters that will be for sale.
Also the same age very nice Welsummer roosters. I will be bringing what I have of them to sale .
And I have some mixed breed roosters that I'm bringing to sale.
I hope that I have some of them sold before the Oct stock,
as I have way more than I need.
I cant wait, its going to be great.

So who is planning on dressing their chickens up for the costume contest?
The event is so close to Halloween, maybe we can have a photo prop area for Autumn/Halloween/Thanksgiving pictures.

I haven't figgered out how to do it yet and I haven't found a willing subject. but don't fear I will dress a chicken!!

I also have an entry for the ugliest chicken contest. She is a sure fire winner. If she was a person you would say she is a "nice" or "sweet" girl. Pretty or cute never enters the same sentence with her.
