Old Chicken 7 Years Old Curling Feathers?

Hi, so I don’t know if anyone has ever seen this before but if so I’m wondering what could be causing it. My oldest hen, Olivia has had some of her feathers curl around her “shoulders” area it first started only a little bit a year ago, but ever since she last molted this fall they are extremely curly and dry feeling. She doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of illness or distress, but I still think it’s a little weird. Hopefully someone may be able to help me she is 7 and a half years old. I’ve left some pictures to see. We just moved to Tucson AZ but we were previously living in NH if that makes a difference.

I am clueless as to what is causing that, but it is really interesting. Thanks for posting the pictures.
