Hi Guys i'm a newbie in this forum and take care of the chicken of my landlord.
letting them out every morning and have a chat with them while giving them water and fresh food and collect eggs than let them out of a while stretch their legs and wings
Hi Casey good on you for taking care of the landlord's birchooks! I'm down in Adelaide with four hens in the backyard. If you'd like to join in some chook chat, visit MJ's little flock where I share my chicken stories with a small group of friends. Ribh's thread is a good one too and she's in QLD too!

Welcome Casey, I (we) would love it if you tell us more about the flock you take care for.
But most of all. Do enjoy the chick

Hi Kees ...53 what? Did you’re family migrate 53 years ago and are they original Dutch ? Or are 53 years old ?

Anyway good luck with starting a free range chicken farm. Planning on organic too? Thats even better for the planet 🌎 The eggs will cost more but are are worth more too.
I'm 73 and i am 53 years in Australia. I met up with the family after my time in the air force at Soesterberg Air Base but spreek Hollands en Engels. Sometimes i think it is cheaper to buy eggs then having chicken. here on the gold coast in queensland we can buy free range eggs for only $5 dozen. At the moment i do my research on every thing i will need for organic meat chicken and layers. I may go into goats as well
