What type of scale are you using?
Weigh something that is sort of "known" like a bag of sugar maybe? See how close your scale is.

Just tested the scale with weights, and the scale is accurate.
So I'm going with the 10.5 lbs

Yes. That was the 10.5lb weight I got with her.

10.5lbs she's still a big gal, but that's not too bad if she's a Red Ranger. In the photos she looks pretty good. I realize she has some problems, but I think she will start to improve tremendously if you can get the mites under control.

Mites are nowhere to be found now second permethrin dip is tomorrow.

Tomorrow we are buying ber fresh fruits and veggies low in calories to aid in keeping fatty liver disease at bay.

What are you feeding her, maybe a feed with less protein for her, that way she still gets all the other vitamins/minerals she needs ... Just a thought

16% layer pellets.
She gets 2cups a day, but doesn't finish it all.

I maybe wrong but thought I read somewhere here, 1/4cup per chicken.

I have 4BO, 9mo & laying ... I ferment their feed, replenishing 2cups per day so figure they're eating about half cup per day. Maybe reduce what you feed her since she's not finishing it, feed her 1.5 cups & slowly reduce her until she gets about a cup a day. I've learn "healthy" treats neutralizes the nutrition in their feed. She doesn't look big and she is pretty. You've gotten great advice & hopefully you'll get her issues under control.
