RIGHT!!! Mypetchicken says that bright red and large combs are not indicative of a rooster and I can't report it with certainty until 10 weeks old.

Me either...it’s like when my Packers are down 30-3...I still keep rooting even when I’m painfully sure it’s over, until it actually is.

Yes, they will give me a refund, but not until the official reporting period. We are also responsible to rehome and they won't ship just one bird (for their safety) so we would have to get at least 3 more to replace this one. :/

8 weeks old tomorrow. Maybe looking more hen-like? The comb/wattle aren't getting any larger and I still don't see any noticeable saddle or hackle feathers. There is some blue/green coloring coming in on the wing feathers...mypetchicken claims that early red/large comb/wattles are not necessarily indicative of a rooster. My report window starts on 8-23. Still holding out hope for a hen!
