Well the match sticks holding my eyes open just broke - so I'm going to have a little cat nap...

Well I woke up and first drove my daughter to the bus station. She missed her bus by 5 minutes, so she's still here and having a fit. OH well!

I just wanted to check in and see how things are going before I get ready to go build my little coop at another BYCer's house.

I'm glad he still seems to be hanging in there. I'll check back in when I can.

One thing I do when I have eggs that are in doubt is to take them out of the incubator, hold them to my ear and tap on them usually if the chick is alive you will hear it.

I use a stethoscope I bought off Amazon, they make a lot of noise in there when they are close to hatching.

Now the membrane looked dry again so I wet it down and it started chirping like mad - how long do you think is too long for it to be in there - the crack is a little wider though not by much... I'm pretty sure it's facing the blunt end too....

I haven't hatched any yet, but it sounds like it will be alright.
