OMG..I THINK WE FOUND A GRAVE IN OUR BACKYARD! "UPDATE PAGE 11"

The Wolf Queen , Sounds like shadow people you saw. They are not really ghosts and it is said they skip and hide around trees and gravestones. You might be able to find info on them.
I find ghost stories interesting but I have never seen anything myself other then one strange picture I took on the Queen Mary in October.

I too am waiting for a picture of this heqadstone. If it has only one number , I do know that some asylum's use to bury their patients by numbers and not names. Often no markings just a number.

I may be the only person who feels like this but I don't want to see a ghost. Not a dead family member, or friend or anything that has died. I would FLIP out if I saw a ghost

. I got my grandgather's house after he died, not in the house or course but his daddy did, and I have had people say they have heard things. My GF was spending the night and went to the bathroom around 3am. When she came back to bed, she asked me what I had whispered to her. I was half asleep and told her nothing. She said that when she walked past the laundry room, she heard plain as day a man with a raspy voice say"hey gal". That is wat my grandfather called women and he had a really scratchy voice. Since then, she has heard it several different times. I loved my grandfather, but I don't want to see or hear from him till I get to heaven!!!

my sister used to live in louisiana in a house they beleived was haunted by an old lady and a dog... my mom was staying with them to help out with her new baby and they were all sitting in the livingroom when she saw a lady go down the hallway... she then realized everyone was in the living room... another time she walked into the livingroom when she saw a lab sitting on the couch and she thought oh what a pretty dog. and walked by the couch ... then it dawned on her that my sister didn't own any pets..

I spent the weekend there and I wanted so badly to see this ghost and I stayed up watching the hallway thru the bedroom door.... (my brother in laws nephew lived with them and i thought he was gone for the night) ... well he came home to ask brother in law something and i wasn't expecting him when he came down the hall that i almost fell out of bed... then and there i decided that i just wasn't ready to see a ghost

We found out that there is a Confederate soldier buried somewhere on our back 40. His grave was at the base of a tree long gone now. The town museum can find his grave through GPS. Never saw him walking around though. I saged all the buildings on the farm before we moved in because of the bad karma the previous tenents left. On the other hand, one morning in our old house, I heard 2 guys talking in the basement. Just mumbling, mind you. I couldn't make out the words. No one else was awake so I go out in the garage and grab the baseball bat and down I went. Creeping ever so slowly down the basement stairs. My head was down by my feet as I was trying to see who was there. Creeped out yet? Well, there was no one there and I wondered later what the hell I'd have done if it was 2 men with guns. Alot of good that bat would have done me. I would have had to do the matrix thing

Anyway, those are my two ghost stories.

I really find ancient history ruins VERY fascinating. If I ever found something like an old gravestone or something from waaay back a long time ago, I would be so excited and amazed. It's amazing to think that maybe, just maybe, someone once stood in that same spot, looking at that grave, over 100 years ago or something.

I find it very interesting. I also think that bones are quite amazing, too. I like to imagine how they got there, and what happened...what does that tell about me?

But for some reason I find that reading through a history book is pretty boring...

i used to really be freaked out about the dead but quickly got over that when i started working with my husband. he owns a lawn and landscape business and yeah we take care of not one but three cemeteries!!! its not that scary now but we both dislike going down this small dip and up the hill because be both get cold chills. these are really awesome cemeteries the one was started in the 1770's i think and so has lots of old graves they are really interesting because some of them have the cause of death. billy bob was gored by bull. buggy accident. the toddlers are the hardest to handle though because its not like an infant that wasn't strong enough to live but that they lived and then were take it makes me sad that there are so many so young ones out there who never got to live a life

all the cemeteries around where i live are really old... my husband did secuirity for an oil field and there is a lone grave of a confederate soldier. its sad that its all by itself in the middle of an oil field... then thier is this other cemetery that has a brick wall around it with no gates to get in... not sur e of the reason for this... someone was buried there recently and they had to pass the casket over the wall... it was strange
