OMG I'm so excited I could bust

Last night I candled my first egg. I finally figured out how to do it. I would never of been able to figure out how if it wasn't for all ya'll wonderful people at BYC. You guy's are great. 7 out of the 10 egg's had movement.

Oh I hope all 7 hatch. Also where is the most economical place to get a red light and about what wattage should I be looking at?????? Keep up all the helpful and kind work. You guy's rock. PEACE

I just put in 7 speckled sussex in so I hope mine hatch.
You are useing the lamp for the chicks right?
If so I bought mine from Peavy Mart and it was 250 watt.

check walmart, but you really dont need them. Never had one and pecking is not a issue here.

And as for the red light, you can get the setup at the farm supply store... or such. Just be sure to use a thermometer too, so you don't overdue it... or them (

). Might only need it for a couple weeks, if the weather is warm.
