I cant stand it! Theyre only 7 days old and im already so **** attached to them. I let them perch on me constantly, i watch them sleep..im a crazy chicken lady already...lord help me.

It only gets worse!

Wait until they grow up and injure themselves, and you wake up in the middle of the night unable to sleep for worrying about infection setting in before it gets light. That's what happened to me last night. I ran out first light and grabbed my patient out of her coop and brought her inside, all ready to do more first aid and lo and behold! The injury was healing perfectly!
