OMG! they're peeping in the Eggs! UPDATE!

Congrats friend on your hatch and a successful intervention. I'm thrilled for you.

We've not had such a great experience on this end. We've had to intervene on 2 and lost them both.

The 2 that completely hatched on their own were beautiful.....until one got taken outside this afternoon by our too loving/"lets go play outside" Catahoula Leopard dog Bailey. I truly believe that she was trying to show her new friend the world outside..unbeknownst to us. Poor little "Miley" was essentially licked to death. A hard lesson for our entire family.

Our one survivor "Chicken Joe/Josie" is now very lonely and letting us all know about her dislike for being by herself.

As much as we loved doing this, I don't know that I've got the "guts" to ever try this again. Tomorrow is a new day. We're praying mightily for the 3 that have pipped today. I don't hold much hope though....it's day 23 for
