WOW...that really sucks for everyone. , and it could have all been avoided by keeping the dog under control.

I haven`t read through all 15 pages , but you have to remember that most people that don`t have chickens , don`t realize they are just as much our pets and loved by us , as there dogs and cats are to them.

I feel for you and your family....looks like it could be the start of something ugly , by no fault of your own

Well SHOOOOT! I must be doing something wrong!! I made a NEW homepage and put the pictures on there but they are coming up as text instead of pics, WHY?? I have made a previous page, and the pics worked then. Anyone want to do a quick refresher course with me? LOL DANG!

1. Document: Take pictures or video (if possible), and write down the dates, times, and incidents.

2. Take the documentation to the police and let them know what happened, as well as what these neighbors are doing.

This is getting way out of hand. I'm sorry, but I have to say, for your safety and the safety of your family, you need to get the police involved. Their behavior is inappropriate and out of line and can be considered harassment. They're obviously not rational people. They can't be expected to *get over it* however, they can't be allowed to harass you and your family.

Yes, they can be overreacting because they're hurting. However, maybe that's why you need some intervention. There are too many of them acting like predators themselves.

If it were me, I'd have an order of protection in the morning.

You are in quite a predicament, and if something isn't done to stop this, it's going to turn very very ugly.

I wish you the best and I'll pray for you and your family.

uh, yeah. Call the police, tell them the situation, and just make sure they are apprised of what's going on in case (but really hoping NOT) things escalate. I understand their pain at losing their dog; I'm sure they loved their pet. I can CERTAINLY understand your pain as well; their dog took the lives of YOUR pets, whom you love just as much as they loved their pet. A sad deal all the way around, but if there is any blame to be placed, the fault lies with the owners of the dog, even if it was "just being a dog". I'm so sorry for your family's and in particular your daughter's loss of her pets.
