I liked your idea about taking the turner apart and using it as an egg holder, I will use your idea when mine no longer works.
I have hatching yesterday and today a Copper Marans , and Standard Bluelaced Red Wyandottes and Seramas. That will be a good looking group!

Yea the turner idea has been working great i am sticking to it for now on
Awesome hatching you have! that would be a beautiful group.. i plan to hatch some Serama later this year i just love them as well
right now i have 3 chicks out one chick that is half out but resting and few more eggs that are pip so about 10 or 11 more eggs for go
they seem to be hatching in good timing i should have another chick within the next 2 hours or so
I had to send this pic after reading a few of the posts on this thread. This was my last Serama chick to hatch. That was almost two weeks ago. He or she is still the smallest of the group, we call it "Peanut". I n Serama land, you want them the smaller the better. Thought you might enjoy the pic whilst you're hatching! Good luck!

AwwwI got to meet Jerry at the Ohio Nationals and have just put 15 more eggs in that are eggs directly from his birds. ( birds bought directly from him)
