No they are perfectly healthy it looks like. Solid poops, eating, drinking. One is actually her brother. I am going to go look at the ones they are getting this Friday because I kinda need a female and I think both of them are male. I know for sure at least her brother is male. The lady at the store sexed them female but she also sexed my one year old gander as female. He is most definitely not female. I think the ones she sexed as female are male and the males are probably females. They are really upset right now so I will try to find another female this weekend.

If it was something like a birth defect, I am glad it happened now instead of down the road where we would get more attached and used to her. Last year my first pair of geese, the female was about two months old and I went out there and she was dead with ants all over her for now reason. I literally had checked on her a hour before and she was fine while eating and drinking. Harley, my Chinese goose, was upset for weeks until I got him another girlfriend. I got vixen, a buff and Sebastopol mix, out of losing her but I still do miss her sometimes because she was so sweet and kind. They get one more shipment of 10 buff geese on Friday so I will probably try to find another female.

At least she was with me and died while I held her and stroked her. At least she felt loved. First my eldest and most loved hen died of sour crop in November, then my dog who I raised from day one died of stitching coming undone from intestinal blockage in March this year, and now I lost the little bird who tried so hard to stay alive. I absolutely love this year!
