I built a one egg incubator a while ago (See my page for details) and was wondering if anyone else has had one? If so, we can discuss out designs and how to improve them. Thanks, CBS

I just dont see something that small working very well. The main thing is it has no thermal mass so regulating temp even with a thermostat would be hard.

Have you used it successfully? Seems like a nifty little project!

Well, we haven't tried it yet because we can't have roosters [IMG]
Rebelcowboysnb: We actually plugged it in, and it reached 110 degrees, so we actually have to drill some more ventilation holes [IMG] Oh, and I got a 100 % on it at the 4-H fair and was put on the awards table or whatever !!!!

    One egg incubator?

My best bet would be to ask a female friend with bra# better than 4 or 5 to incubate it there.

Then what you are going to do with one chick?

    If it hatches.
