I have a beautiful Rhode Island Red hen who I'd like to show in September. I clipped her wings about a 2 months ago. I'm wondering if her feathers will have grown back in by September, or if I won't be able to show her. Also, is there another way besides clipping her wings that I could keep her from flying out of our coop? Thanks.

Pull the stubs of the feathers you trimmed & they should be grown back by September. If you leave them to grow back on their own it won't happen 'till the bird molts.
As to keeping birds from flying out of their enclosure a higher fence or a top on the run will work but I can;t think of any other option.

PS- thread bumping is a no no here.
