one of my poems. (i added another one, guys!)

StormHorse - Here's what the Lord says about how we should think and the awesome power associated with WHAT we think:

Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things."

Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."

I'm praying for you hon.

Lord give this child of yours a glad and joyful heart that they might know you.

thank you for being concerned, but i really am ok. just a different kind of person. i find release from my writing and this is where i find joy and happiness. they are sad, but it makes me happy. does that make sense?

This one starts out sad but gets happy! Wrote it just for you all! Its about me and one of my horses. Shes a paint and the center of my life. Kind of about how she helps me deal with everything. You cant understand the title unless you know my girls name, STORMY!!!!!

Joy in the Storm
The small girl touches her lip where I have my ring,
I glance at her, but look away,
Pretending I didn't hear her scream.
Shut my eyes tight avoiding her mother's sad gaze.
I'm a human being, not your living display.
Staring out the window, on my way home.
I can't wait to get back, I need to be alone.
I think of something, not bothering to hide my smile,
Grab my old boots and head to the barn for a while.
I gather your mane in my hands and jump on.
This is the perfect moment, so many times I've drawn.
We don't need anything, its just you and me.
Down at the beach, we swim until no one can see.
Racing the sunset back home, we are caught in the dark,
I think back to our beginning, when we first lit our spark.
We've come so far, conquered so many fears.
And into your mane, I've cried so many tears.
At last, I jump to the ground and kiss you goodnight.
In this moment in time, everything is alright.
I have no problems, for we can outrun them all,
When were together, I know I won't fall.
As I pull the blankets around me, I go over the day in my mind.
I remember how to their stares, you make me blind.
Closing my eyes and bidding away forgotten pain.
Just want to wake up in summer, to ride with you again.

And here she is at the beach, right after we went swimming. You can tell shes wet! The poem is true ya know!!!!

Yes it makes sense and I also like the poem you just posted. It's your sadness that concerns me. You posted this on another thread:

And you've posted in this thread about your sadness. Just wanted you to know that there are people who care about you and want you to be happy. Continue writing great poems but have a happiness about you that shines through.

this isnt really about sadness. this is actually about sadness that makes me happy! if you get that. i live for my horse, and the only time i am truly living is when im with her. i want to build a carreer around horses, but of course, i only tell you guys cause last time i told my mom she went on a rant about my unrealistic dreams. oh well. i got ya'll!!!!!!!!!

. thats gonna take some practice. i used to use the ABAB way but kind of got out of that.

I did notice that. I'm sure it will take some practice, but like I said, I think it could evolve to another level. Writing good poetry is hard stuff, and you seem to have a talent. Keep it up!

And also, keep the subject matter dark, I like it.
