I have had same setup with same chickens for a year, I got two pullets couple of months ago. Nothing changed they got integrated into the flock no problem. There is really no fighting pecking or anything else like this. Today I have noticed for first time ever some picking of one pullet on another's back. I checked her out and she has feathers missing in one quarter sized spot. NLooks like there is tiny bit of blood but not much. Fact remains that feathers are being eaten. How do I discourage this behavior?
