paddock36, your eggs will be shipped tomorrow. I don't know if you have seen the news about the flooding in TN or not but my road is closed because of a washed out bridge.
I'm glad there is not a lot of stiffing going on. A post I saw made me wonder. I hope that my wondering didn't make any of my swap partners think I was mentioning them! I heard from them both within 24 hours of those posts but I wasn't trying to direct towards anyone I promise. They weren't even late so I hope no one took my questions wrong.
Hopefully the eggs I've sent out have arrived safe and well!
I received my Golden Sebright eggs today, all intact
. And I received DC # today for 2nd trade, so everything seems to be going well. So far, both sets of SLC eggs I have shipped have been received in good condition. Also, I will mail SLC eggs to PeepsInc tomorrow.
At least I will have more than one type of eggs to offer which has been LF SLC. I purchased 4 different types of chickens recently--breeding trios/quads including Lavender Ameraucana Bantams (Quad) and Ameraucana Bantams Wheaton Roo and Black Roo w/Blue hen and Splash hen (most Ameraucana stock is from J. Blehm, President of Ameraucana Club of America). I now have Bantam Golden Lakenvelders (1 Roo/5 hens) and a trio of Bantam Silver Lakenvelders. All of these are laying very well so far. Next week, I will adding two pairs of Bantam Delawares and a quad of Bantam Golden-Laced Barnvelders. It will be nice to offer more than just one type of eggs.
I will try to get all my pics and website up by mid-week, which my 10 year old son is helping me with (he's much better and has more time to do this).
Thanks, BYC and all the wonderful BYC members, for a very fun and enjoyable place to trade eggs and a great place to chat, too.
