Ok, well, good news and bad news. Good news first. I have been getting 1 egg a day from my MF Duccles, so hopefully the start of a trend

And 6 out of the 7 Cayuga eggs I got are showing great veining

Now the semi bad news. It looks like I have barred rock eggs developing, but I don't know how many yet because my candler was starting to get hot, I had gone through so many eggs. Out of some silkies I got, only 2 are showing good veins, and a third looked like it was moving but there was hardly any veins so I am not sure that one is going anywhere. Out of my cochin eggs only two are doing anything, so I might have to try and snag some more of those so I have a good selection. Maybe I will get lucky and the will be frizzle. And the really bad news is that none of the OEGB's are doing anything

. I had already trashed three, the one that popped on me, and two that were turning black inside. Now I have a couple more turning black or getting black floaty gunk, and the rest are just clear. I guess I can't be to sad, but I was really hoping for some red pyles. Oh well, wish me luck on the ones that are doing something

Ok, we had some unusually warm weather this week, and all my girls all but stopped putting out the eggs. They are slowly starting to pick back up, and I'm pretty sure I owe eggs to 3 more people.

I owe a shipment of Columbian Wyandotte eggs yet.
Another shipment of 1/2 Columbian and 1/2 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes
and 1/2 dozen Mille Fleur d'Uccles to someone else. I can't remember who they all are off the top of my head, but I do have them saved in my PM box and I'm going to be trying to start shipping these out next week

My ladies have also gone on strike (except for two!) I'm hoping that once they realize that summer is here to stay, they pick back up very quickly!!!
