Same here- I find you are better off paying for postage and delivery confirmation at the post office rather than the USPS website. I found that online postage never got scanned anywhere, so there was no proof the package was ever sent, only postage purchased. I also found that using one post office over another shipped faster too. This shouldn't make a difference (according to the postmaster) but 2 separate boxes going to the same location in GA - one took 2 days, the other five days. Guess which one I ship my eggs from?

Lora- I'm waiting patiently for eggs hoping they are not boiled in the shell from the heat!

I use the website all the time and only had one problem with the scanning. It was when the wife gave the box to the post man and I told her not too!!! Whe you bring it to the PO, you have to make sure they scan it. Once they do you are good. If you just drop it in the bin at the PO it will not get scanned. I have shipped so many the PO knows me and I can leave the box on the counter and they will scan it later. Most employees at the PO see the online lable and just put it in the bin to be shipped that is why you have to tell them and make sure they do it.

If you use paypal shipping and print the scan form, the carrier or postal worker has to scan it upon receipt, otherwise, it gets scanned if they think of it, usually not

Ok, I only pay online, either through paypal or usps, and I haven't had any problems with my packages getting to where they belong. SO FAR. Also, I regularly give my boxes to our mail lady to take in with her and she knows they are eggs so she is very careful with them. Course the guy who fills in for her when she has a day off wouldn't know an egg from a brick, so you can't trust them all

I thought I was the only one who was getting mixed up and had to start making a list in a notebook.

Not to keep your hopes up, but my MF Cochins are laying more and more now..... Keep our fingers crossed.

The Columbian Cochins haven't arrived here yet, either. I'm

that they're OK.

I shipped eggs out to gamebirdsonly in UTAH and it took a WEEK! He got them 7 days TO THE DAY and they were exploded and smelly.

I'm waiting for my girls to pick up laying so I can re-ship him some eggs. I'm hoping next week is a better laying week, as the days are supposed to be a bit cooler and not so warm as it's been here the last few days.

UGH, now see I just checked the Columbians and they say they were accepted on the 28th too and that's not true.

Here's your DC# 0309 0330 0002 0216 5688

I sent them out the same time I sent out the Mottleds to Heather. And I gave Heather the DC #, I believe on Tuesday. Oh I can't wait until Tuesday!

Maybe they are sitting at my PO then. I'll check on Tuesday.

Ok, I just checked the tracking - and the Columbian Cochin eggs passed through PA yesterday morning just after 8:30 am. So, they'll definitely be there on Tuesday.
I wonder why your PO held them all week???

Those of you that I owe Millie Fleur Cochin eggs to: The laying seems to be getting back to normal, so expect to get your eggs in the next 5 to 10 days. I usually ship Mondays or Wednesdays, but can only do 2 orders per week for optimum freshness. I will pm you when they ship. Thanks for being so understanding. If anyone has questions, pm me!
