Sweetie, I'm not upset about it! LOL You do NOT have to send me more eggs!! I don't think this was your fault at all, and I don't think they were infertile.

I'm sorry I didn't update you via PM. I didn't give it much thought. We've been sick here the last couple days, and I'm just happy to have anything hatch.

I still owe YOU eggs! My Columbian Wyandottes have finally picked up production, but the BLRW aren't doing much. I may have to send you the Columbians for now and ship you a second box with BLRW if that's OK.

I think most of my problems with the eggs has been the PO - this is the first year that I've received smashed boxes or had things take forever in shipping - both coming and going!

Well, you can't have just one Columbian!! LOL

And I know you owe me eggs and I told you that when they get laying again, we'll square up. What I don't like is the disappearing and not answering PMs or emails or if you tell someone there's a problem with eggs you got and they don't get back to you. If I give you my business, at least have the common decency to acknowledge that you heard what I had to say. You've been in constant touch with me, letting me know what's going on.

Another seller that I just bought eggs from on BYC, I contacted, to let them know that there was a problem with 9 of the eggs they sent me and I got no response. So I won't purchase from that seller again, nor will I recommend them.

I keep a very detailed list of eggs sellers, where they're from, what they sell, and my experience with them. Other than BYC, I belong to several other "poultry communities" and we recommend egg sellers to each other.

lol THANK YOU .... I KNOW I DO GET FORGET FULL AND HAVE A PROBLEM WRITING STUFF DOWN ON SCRAP PIECES OF PAPER AND THEN LATER FIND I LOST THEM , SO NOW I HAVE A STUDENT PLANNER I TRY TO WRITE EVERYTHING IN .... PLUS TWO CALENDARS LOL

you know with so many people haveing problems with eggs i wonder if the phase of the moon upon setting them may have something to do with it , you know like the farmers almanac says , but idk just reaching for something to go with the heat , xraying, and post office football lol

I don't know about moon phases, or even chicken eggs. But in game bird eggs, I don't rest my eggs when it's real hot. I've also been told this by a few others, and my shipped egg hatching % has doubled. Sometimes the eggs hatch a day early and I think they might actually start "incubating" in the mail from all the heat!

my post office lady ask me if that could happen. I said maybe, but not let them sit out if there were already exposed to very hot weather makes sense. Maybe putting them in bator but make sure the turner does not turn for at least 8 hour would help we need to do some egg experiments

yeah maybe we should do that , its been 100 to 105 in the day here for 4 or 5 days and in the 90s at night , i have thought about setting some eggs out and seeing what they would do boy it would save on electricity if they would set in the sun and still hatch lol

Lol, just don't put them directly in the sun, as crispy as my back is right now from weeding the garden, I think that your eggs would be par boiled!
