Hey... someone said that if you mark the box "syrup" that they're gentler with the handling because if they bust the box it gums up the equipment and they have to clean it. Dunno if this works or not. I mark all mine with this giant sticker:

I dunno if it ensures better handling enroute but I certainly get some interesting looks at the Post Office! LOL!
I have gotten to where I don't mark my boxes at all!!!! I pack them tight and snug and pray for the best. I was told by a po employee that they employee those that will shack the box and listen for hatching chicks!!
