Do you sell your ee eggs? I have the one silkie feathered ameracauna and would love to possibly add more from a completely separate line. I will just have to start buying ee eggs from you and FarmerJohn3285 until I get one. Even if it takes forever. lol.

I would love some of swheats silkie feathered cochins but I have my hands full with the blacks and self blues for now. Need to practice restraint. If I keep saying it maybe it will happen. lol.

elieugene, I do sell my EE eggs. Check out my BYC page for prices and pictures. Have pages for individual breeds. For you others not familiar with what we were talking about....shelleyd2008, swheat, elieugene, and myself were discussing silke feathering on EE and how it randomly shows up on occassion. It's something brand new to me. Shelley said she has hatched out some silkie feathered serama. If anyone else has heard or experienced this, please chime in!!

Yes, I have a silkie feathered EE chick roaming around with it's game mamas and I'm not sure if it came from MY EE's egg or if it's one that I hatched from FarmerJohn

@elieugene6: I do sell my EE eggs when they are laying good but if it hatched from my eggs I know which hen it came from. I have 2 hens (had 3 then but I've lost one to predation). Of the 3 that I had only 2 laid 'blue' eggs, the other lays green. I only ever set eggs from one of the blue egg layers because she is mom to the other 2 hens so I know she passes on the blue gene. So if it came from mine, it hatched from an egg from one of my hens.

ETA: Because I don't have an EE roo at this time, so I want to hatch EE that have the blue gene

I have a young black Ameraucana cockerel that will be going in a pen with the Ameraucana pullets and the EE hens to make sure I get the blues

Humm, I don't think they are supposed to have feathered feet unless they are EE's, Sounds like somebody's Ameraucana hen or their feather legged roo went wandering. PM me the name of that breeder please, lol.

In a couple of my swaps this summer with bbs orphingtons I got a couple with feathered legs. And from two different breeders. I kept one of them and it's actually a cochin. She's very pretty and i'm not complaining. I just wanted some girls that where big enough to not get broken down from my roo. He's huge. This cochin pullet is actually larger than her hatch mates so i'm sure she will do just fine with the other 3 orph pullets I got.

And no, I don't remember who the breeders where. Sorry

anyone know a good person or persons to get EE eggs from. I don't have any EE's and have disided to add them into the mix. I know that this isn't quite the place to put this but I have seen these eggs often offered in the swaps

Hatched one EE from Farmer John's eggs just now. Both of the EE eggs he sent me made it all the way so am still holding out hope for the other one. Have two of the barred rock ones in there but nothing from them so far.
