hehehe....I thought this might take off. I live in indianapolis and would love to buy everything from individuals if i could. Maybe we could regionalize and make different threads for each state? just an idea or maybe each time zone.

This would be great! I know I can not wait until spring when I can get stuff at the local farmers market and the flea market, instead of the grocery store.

It's run as a co-op. It avoids shipping costs by providing delivery to select points in Nebraska an western Iowa. Shipping frozen meat is very expensive, and would necessarily include ice packs, etc...

I think it's a great iea, but with shipping, it makes it a bit prohibitive

And.. (in MO. anyway) you must be USDA inspected to sell meat.
