Day 21 and I have 3 pips and two started zipping. I noticed one of the eggs oozing a yellow brownish liquid with a bit of blood and I removed it. The chick had passed. I’m already concerned I opened the incubator to remove the egg in fear it would burst but there’s still ooze on the floor. Is it safe to leave it? Chick was malformed and didn’t smell rotten. I’m terrified about opening it again with all I’ve read about how you shouldn’t do I’m nervous to clean that spot 😭 please help!

:welcome As long as the 'ooze' did not smell rotten, I would not be excessively worried. If the humidity came back up rapidly, I think that your eggs will still hatch. Good luck.

Don't worry too much about either the ooze or the humidity. If you decide to go in quick and clean it up, you can throw a couple pieces of wet paper towel in there to help bring the humidity back up a bit faster. Of course, you can also just leave a bit of mess until your chicks are done. Either way your hatch will be fine.
