Evening folks! Been hearing geese going north the last couple of days...sure sign that Spring can't be too far away! Planted some onions today and have to get serious with ordering the garden seeds. Sounds very nice! Indeed, it seems like Spring is right around the corner, but I'm positive there will be one last snowstorm before we finally usher in Spring.

Today was pretty good. School went fine, and I realized that maybe, just maybe, I need a life.

We had a cooler day here today and overcast, but at least its not freezing!!! Been sewing on a birthday present for my oldest daughter and finally had to get away from the sewing machine! Trying to decide on what kind of new fencing we want to get for the orchard and what to order for the garden....some "intense" discussions going on here in the Ozarks; these tough decisions are hard on us!! lol......

Hm... Fencing. It's pretty fun to look at, but buying, now that's rather hard. I hope you make a good choice~

Yeah the fencing is an ongoing discussion, we can't decide on the height since the chickens will be free ranging and we will have to electrify it at the top at least, perhaps about half way up too....but hope to figure it out and go pick some up next week. Hubby has been cutting and splitting posts everytime we go cut wood, so we are about to have enough. Should be an interesting project for us "old" folks!!!

We have a fence about 12 feet tall that works very well. Why are you electrifying the top?
