Open front coop done, chicken yard in progress

Pics
OhNo!!..was expecting happy hatching story when I saw pic.
What happened...did I miss something??
RIP Ruby :(

Thank you :)

I think Marek's is likely. Looking into getting a necropsy to be sure. So far the rest are doing fine. I think wild birds brought it here, I'm pretty regular about cleaning the coop and dusting everything down. No new additions to chickens since Fugly hatched, and our quail were hatched here.

I'm going to disinfect the coop this weekend, so looking in to what to try for that now.

Good you can get a necrospy done......hope they do histology too.
Why do you suspect Mareks?

She was stumbling, toes curled, wing paralysis and loss of appetite. Found her in the coop on the loft in the afternoon rather than out with the flock. She tried to have scratch but was missing her target. I checked for broken bones, mites and lice, bumblefoot, she wasn't eggbound. Her tail was pointed off to the side like she was trying to keep from falling over. No discharge from nostrils or respiratory issues. Marek's was my conclusion but won't know for sure until we get results.

We need a baby coop, hatching some eggs for easter, and I'm going with a hoop coop this time. Will be in the same yard as the main coop and can double as a broody pen.
Not getting started until next month, but will post pics as I go. I might build this one myself.

New coop materials have been purchased. Still need plywood and corrugated roof panels but we can get started anyway.

Progress. Hubs thinks he'll get the roof on today too but I dont think the fiberglass panels will be on there. We need groceries and he has to work tomorrow. Feel bad, he's done this all himself because I've had to work.
