Ordinance Lawrence, Indiana

Hi! New here and want to learn as much as I can before getting chickens. I did see a thread here from 2014 that chickens are not allowed here in Lawrence but they are in Marion County, Indianapolis which Lawrence is inside of. Does anyone know if there’s been success in changing this ordinance? If the ordinance has not been changed is there anyone here, in Lawrence wanting help or willing to help change the ordinance?

May have found my own answer. Found an article from 2016 stating land use ordinance was to be amended to allow hens with reasonable habitable requirements. Attempted to contact the city last week with no success but will try again tomorrow for accuracy and permit if required. Thank you to whoever preserved to accomplish this amendment.
