Oregon Fall Poultry Swap! 9/25/10 11am **all details on first post!*

So my pics are huge!! Sorry, total computer illiterate! Also wanted to mention that some of the EE hens are molting and not especially attractive;). I've been asked about the Marans-don't know his lineage or egg color but am posting 2 pics of him.

I am so sorry, I really am a lost case, so didn't mean to post same pic twice. Somebody also asked me about the D'Uccle and I'm going to attempt a pic of him, before I'm booted off here:lol:

I'll take all your hens. The only color they will duplicate are the Wheaton and Blue Wheaton. My Wheaton and Blue Wheaton are purebred Ameraucanas so it has been a waste having them in the EE pen.

Hi

I am sorry I won't be able to make the swap since I had fun and sold a lot of birds at the spring swap. I have gone through the list of wanted and have and I have some birds some of you may be interested and if you are driving from the north you can detour to Corvallis and pick up or drop some more birds on your way home.

What I want:

Nice (SQ) blue, black or splash pure Ameraucana pullets or hens.
Light sussex pullets or hens, I have some to trade.

What I have:

I have nice Blue Ameraucana roosters that I hatched from Wayne Merideth. I was going to breed some but only have boys.

Pilgrim geese male and female that are about 1 1/2 year olds. These are from Holdereads and were purchased as goslings as a breeding pair.

Two brown chinese goslings 3 months old that were fostered by my Pilgrims this summer.

I have some beautiful Olive eggers that just started laying and are laying some beautiful olive colored eggs. These are F! from Easter egger x black copper marans cross.

I have many cockerels including several black copper marans, speckled sussex, barnevelders aged 3 to 5 months.

Barnevelder pullets that are 8 to 1o weeks.

I have a friend going to the swap that can pick things up. So I would have to arrange/reserve them ahead of time. Do you know what he has?

I know he has one really nice roo (possibly SQ) and a couple others gold laced and a black and white I think and I have a couple that I am going to bring, most are just OK - all about 6 months, I have one one silver laced that is really small (maybe a banty?) but really cute and an all black that I think is a female -that has been picked on so is missing a lot of feathers on her back and a buff laced roo - don't really want a lot for mine - just decided that they didn't fit with all my other birds (mostly all big heavy breeds) I can let you have first pick if you get there near the beginning of the day -but don't want to hold them all day for a maybe.

What color is the good quality roo he has? Do you know how much he wants for it?
I am actually not able to come to the swap, but have a friend that can bring things home for me. (Celiandy) So I need to arrange for my purchases ahead of time. She also loves polish! =} If you could give me a list of sexes, ages, colors and prices, then I could tell you if I want them all or what.... My guess is that we might take them all between the two of us. =}
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
