Hmm...could be...air sac quality does play a role in the development of the chicks, and I guess ANY development problems could cause post-hatch mortality issues....
Maybe silkiechicken will have some ideas...she's the one who taught me to hatch and always has such great information and insight to hatching. The other 2 I have from the same seller are fine but they also had perfect air sacs, as well as the one of mine and the 2 from my other friend.
